UNHCR and Better Shelter

In March 2017, the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) suffered an outbreak of violence,  which forced many people to flee into Angola and displaced many other internally. There are currently over 70,000 refugees hosted in Angola, out of which 37,608 are from DRC.

UNHCR has implemented 864 Better Shelter units in Dundo, in the Northern part of Angola.
