Food insecurity
Ongoing instability in the Central African Republic has resulted in over 1.2 million people living in displacement, as internally displaced people, or as refugees. The situation for the wider population is among the world’s most critical emergencies, with a large share of the population suffering from malnutrition.
Climate change has brought even more challenges to the country, as torrential downpour and flooding have become more frequent occurrences in recent years.
