بناء مخيم للنازحين من قبل منظومة وطن ومكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانيّة في شمال غرب سوريا (أوتشا) – مساكن مؤقتة أكثر متانة وتوفر حداً أعلى من الحماية والأمان لساكنيها من مؤسسة بِتر شيلتر (ملجأ أفضل).
خلال عام 2021، وبالشراكة مع مكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا) قامت منظومة وطن بتوفير مساكن مؤقتة لحوالي ال3000 نازح في منطقة عريبة في شمال غرب سوريا.
المشروع الذي انطلق في عام 2020، تمكن من بناء 500 وحدة سكنية مؤقتة من مؤسسة بِتر شيلتر، حيث تم تصميم هذا المخيم بطاقة استيعابية ل3000 نازح حالياً يسكنون شمال غرب سوريا، بالإضافة إلى المساكن المؤقتة، قامت مؤسسة وطن ببناء 500 حمّام منفرد للعائلات الساكنة في المخيم وقامت بتجهيز بنى تحتية وبنى صرف صحي لمنع الفيضانات. كما قامت منظومة وطن بتوفير مساعدات إضافية للنازحين القاطنين في المخيم، كالمواد الإغاثية الغير غذائية وخدمات الحماية للعائلات النازحة قسراً والتي تسكن المخيم. منظمات أخرى موجودة في المنطقة قامت بتوفير خدمات الصحة والتعليم والعمل لضمان حصول هذه
العائلات على مقومات وفرص تكفل لهم حد أدنى من الإستقرار وتقوم بتطوير مهاراتهم لبناء مستقبل لهم بعد انتهاء النزوح وعودتهم إلى منازلهم. كما قررت منظومة وطن بتشغيل عدد من الأفراد النازحين في بناء المخيم وإدارته حيث وفرت بذلك فرص أخرى لتأمين سبل العيش للعائلات التي تسكن المخيم.
في حزيران 2021، علمنا في مؤسسة بِتر شيلتر أن منظومة وطن تواصل العمل لتحسين وتطوير الخدمات المقدمة في مخيم عريبة. وبسبب وجود صعوبة في إيصال الماء إلى المخيم، قررت منظومة وطن بالتركيز على إيصال خطوط المياه إلى المخيم وبناء آبار يتم استجرار الماء منها عبر محركات تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية لضمان وصول المياه الصالحة للشرب إلى المخيم.
يسعدنا في مؤسسة بِتر شيلتر (ملجأ أفضل) التعاون مع منظومة وطن ومكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانيّة (أوتشا) لتأمين مساكن تؤمن حداً أعلى من الحماية والأمان كما الكرامة للعائلات النازحة قسرياً والمجتمعات المهمّشة نتيجة الحرب الدائرة في سوريا. إننا نشعر بالفخر بهكذا مشاريع تحسّن حياة العديد من الناس والمجتمعات أثناء فترة النزوح وحتى عودتهم إلى منازلهم.

In 2021, Better Shelter in partnership with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and the Watan Foundation, provided temporary shelters for the construction and improvement of facilities at the Ariba camp, in Northwest Syria.
This project, which initially started in March 2020, saw UNOCHA provide 500 Better Shelter RHU units to the WATAN Foundation, designed to accommodate some 3000 individuals, currently displaced in Northwest Syria.
In addition to the shelters, WATAN Foundation staff built 250 double toilets, implemented 500 double-draining ground beams and finished road surfacing and drainage lines.
This project also included further assistance on WATAN’s behalf, including the distribution of non-food items and providing protection services to the displaced families housed in the camp. Other organizations in the area offered activities related to education, health and livelihoods to ensure that these families have opportunities and chances to develop skills and begin to imagine a life beyond displacement.
