Love always depicts the different conditions and guises of love for people on the run. Love stories that are both beautiful and brutal and take place in some of the world’s darkest places.
Photographer Pieter ten Hoopen has visited regions marked by war, environmental disasters, violence, and intolerance. Currently, 110 million people are refugees worldwide, and he has met some of them to give a voice to the people behind the numbers and increase understanding of the world around us.
Love always is exhibited in collaboration with Sweden for UNHCR at Värmlands Museum 17 January – 11 Febryary 2024. It features a RHU Structure frame from Better Shelter.
