STOCKHOLM, 30 September 2025. Better Shelter has appointed Stina Götbrink and Ebba Grythberg to its Board of Directors. Both bring long experience from business, diplomacy, and sustainability, and will help the organisation expand its work to give families forced to flee a safe place to call home while developing solutions that also care for the planet.
Millions of people are forced to flee their homes due to conflict, persecution, and climate-related disasters, often finding themselves without safe or sustainable shelter. At the same time, the planet faces increasing strain from the effects of climate change and limited resources. In this reality, sustainability is not a choice but an obligation. Better Shelter is committed to developing shelters and solutions that provide displaced families with safety and agency today, while safeguarding the environment for future generations.
Ebba Grythberg has a background in sustainability and business transformation. She combines strategy, innovation, and collaboration to drive positive change at the intersection of purpose and performance. She has led Spotify’s commitment to net-zero emissions by 2030 and integrated climate action across the company’s global platform. Before that, she spent a decade at H&M shaping sustainability strategy with a focus on carbon reduction and business transformation.
“I am inspired by Better Shelter’s ability to combine humanitarian purposes with innovative solutions. Joining the board is an opportunity for me to contribute my experience in driving change to ensure that people forced to flee not only find safety, but also dignity and hope for the future.”

Stina Götbrink brings experience in diplomacy, international cooperation, communication, and advocacy, as well as business development and sales. She has served as Secretary General of Hand in Hand Sweden, leading women’s entrepreneurship programs across Asia and Africa. She was previously Deputy CEO and Head of CSR at the Swedish Postcode Lottery, following a decade as a diplomat at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Today she combines her international experience with local roots as the owner of a forest estate in Värmland.
“Better Shelter has shown that there are alternatives to a life in tents for the over one hundred million people displaced around the world. Through my engagement in Better Shelter, I want to contribute to ensuring that families have a place they can call home, where they can feel safe and secure when they close the door at night. I especially look forward to working together with Better Shelter’s knowledgeable and driven team.
