Our founder and managing director Johan Karlsson will speak in the session Action Speaks: Better Shelter – A place to belong, curated by Ingka Group and partners. The conversation will focus on a simple but often overlooked truth: housing is more than shelter. It is safety, dignity and the foundation for rebuilding one’s life. Through stories from people who have received shelter, the session invites participants to look beyond walls and roofs and consider the human need behind every housing solution. Together, we will challenge misconceptions around affordability, connect with the people behind the numbers and explore how empathy can guide smarter investments and stronger systems of care. Action Speaks was founded by Ingka Group and is curated in collaboration with partners.
Shelter installation at Media Evolution
Tuesday Nov 18th to Thursday Nov 20th | 8:30 – 16:00 | Media Evolution, Stora Varvsgatan 6A, 211 19 Malmö
Visitors will be able to step inside one of our shelters, installed outside Media Evolution. The installation offers a tangible way to experience the space that has supported families, medical teams and educators in more than 90 countries. It is an opportunity to reflect on what dignified temporary housing can mean in the midst of crisis and displacement.
