The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) provided 25 Better Shelter Relief Housing Units (RHUs) to the Croatian Red Cross, in support of their efforts to build educational, psychosocial and child-friendly facilities and development.

The Croatian Red Cross has been involved in multifaceted protection activities regarding the earthquake, including the provision of temporary shelters, reconstruction efforts, NFIs and cash-based programming. The RHUs were delivered to Red Cross delegations in the provinces of Glina, Sisak, Petrinja and used for different types of protection and educational activities, primarily for children and teenagers.
