EU compliance

In 2024, we continued to strengthen our collaboration with suppliers to support sustainable sourcing and production practices.

While we are not a manufacturing entity, our close cooperation with key suppliers plays a central role in our sustainability strategy. Most of our supply chain is aligned with the EU Green Deal framework.

The EU Green Deal sets the strategic direction for a climate-neutral and resource-efficient Europe by 2050. For us, this means engaging proactively with suppliers to ensure awareness of, and readiness for, current and upcoming regulations.

Throughout the year, we held meetings with several key suppliers to discuss their ongoing efforts in sustainability, material efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

In response to new EU regulations like CBAM and the Green Deal, we’re deepening our understanding of the carbon footprint of our materials, improving packaging design for circularity, and prioritising low-emission suppliers. While the EUDR does not yet apply to our core categories, we are monitoring it closely to ensure compliance where relevant.

These efforts reflect our long-term commitment to environmental responsibility and supply chain transparency.
