Since it was declared a public health emergency of international concern in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has devastated communities around the world. When the first vaccine was made available in 2021, SEEDS partnered with local authorities to increase access and spread awareness on the vaccine with the rural, and hard to reach communities in India through their Vaccination Drive.

As more vaccination doses became available and ready to serve the wider public, SEEDS implemented 10 RHU Structures across India in Uttarakhand, Bihar and Meghalaya, where heath care professionals have been vaccinating patients under safe and hygienic conditions.
