At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, UNHCR and implementing partners provided RHUs across the Central African Republic (CAR) to scale up viral testing, treatment and identification. Four RHUs were installed in Berberati in the south-west, and two at the hospital of Baboua in the westernmost border shared with Cameroon, which ultimately covered the entire Baboua-Abba health district.
